BMHGC Club Competition 2015/2016

Flying Season is here, and so is the annual BMHGC competition !

The format for this season gives pilots a number of tasks that they can complete whenever they choose. Tasks are then uploaded to XCContest and scored at the end of the season.

This means that club members can compete when they can, rather than have traditional competition days.

A massive thanks to this years competition organiser; Tom Urie.  Tom and Andy have set us some great challenges.

Good Luck Everyone

Jan Tupy having the first go of the season at; Mt Ovens to Blackheath Task

Information
Competition Organiser: Tom Urie
Competition Period: 11/10/15 – AGM 2016 (1st September 2016 approx.)
By opening the link to XCPlanner you can view the task then download it in the desired format. Once you had a crack at a task upload it to XContest for scoring.
Partially completed task; your score from XContest will be given for a task that is partially flown.

Support - Any problems please contact Tom.

Club comp round today AUG 28th

The forecast is looking good for the club comp round today. Make sure you study the forecast carefully as there may be a change of wind in the afternoon. Talk to a club safety officer if you have any qustions or are unsure about the forecast.

The last sunday of Winter has been flyable every year I have been paragliding. My first ever XC was on the 29th of Aug in a similar forecast to today. I am working today so will miss out if it turns out to be good weather.

Alex.
